In Alma 34:22, we are told to pray against the "power of our enemies", and in 3 Nephi 12:44, we're told to "love your enemies." This way we can pray for both ourselves and our enemies- protecting us, and protecting them.

If we pray for our enemies, do we eventually not consider them our enemies anymore? They might consider you an enemy, but that doesn't mean have you to consider them one, does it? Also, if there is no present/past/future for God, if we were to pray for someone in the past, wouldn't he have known that at the time they were going through whatever, and bless them?

It's such obvious but important questions that led me to stop believing in any massive, organized religion. Plus, the obvious but ignored questions. Such as, why would a loving God allow the death of 6 million innocent people (jews) to just be exterminated, when they were raised jewish as a part of their culture and heritage? How long do you think we lived with Heavenly Father in the pre-existance? Millions of years? Billions maybe? What would possess him to suddenly erase our memories and hope that we found the True Church once again? That these 80 or so years of human life would forever direct our fate for the rest of, well, eternity?

That makes no sense to me at all...

Anyway, thats just my two cents...
